Running Wild (Remix)

Previously wrote a poem ‘Running Wild’

and I received a request to write it differently and see how it turns out. Well, here is the remix…

Running into the light

Away from the confines of the dark

From the reign of terror

Into the realm of bliss and peace

Away from death and rot

To beauty and blossoming life

Away from pain and sorrow

Away from despondency

To lightness of heart and hope

To laughter and happiness

From being chained

To soaring free, gliding on the wind

Scaling heights and breaking boundaries.

  1. While the other’s got some sorta style and a certain amount of ‘swag’, due largely to the rhythmic flow and sequence of the lines in each of the verses, this one’s a tad stiff, too serious yet classy! Lacking that playful, gleeful feel the other’s got in great measure! However, the messages they both convey’s glaring and crystal clear!

In all, you aced ’em both and you know; it affords everyone the opportunity to pick the one they best identify with and just go with it! Variety they say’s the spice of life, so why the heck not! *laughing*

Kudos Doc, way to go! Bravo! Bravo!! LOL
