Light of hope

Hope glimmers amidst
The thick darkness;
A speck,
Covered with the cloak
Of gloom;
It glows, faint
Yet distinguishable
Amidst the dreary night air;
It is a spark,
Transient, fleeting
And soon, it’s snuffed out;
Once more,
The darkness reigns

  1. Wow! A very graphic and visually appealing poem, depicting hope. When expectations tarries, hope becomes but a flickering light, just as depicted in this amazingly loaded piece. Great writing Doc, may the Good Lord shine His awesome light in our lives so brightly, that darkness will not be able to comprehend IJN, Amen. Happy Sunday, y’all!

drop me a line, maybe?
