Moth to the flame

I can’t stay away,

You are dangerous

I know;

I feel it in every fibre

Of my being.

I’m drawn to your warmth,

The light you give off,

The glow;

Too close and I will be

Consumed by your flame.

    Awwww! This is so sweet! A deadly passion! One’s drawn to an object of passion that promises misery and if such a one does not desist or backtrack, he’ll sooo get burnt beyond recognition. Deciding to stay away also brings with it, heartaches but better alive than dead, init?

    I absolutely love this piece, Doc, its sizzling ‘hawt’. *laughing*. Kudos!

        The dilemma of passion eh? Doc, writing ’bout deadly passions and affairs, in addition to heartbreak themed pieces, just gives you the high, don’t they? You strike me as someone who simply delights in courting dangers, yes? Well, you’re fast becoming a pro and building a niche for yourself in writing pieces such as these. Toh! More ink to thy pen, my good Sir! Keep bringing it!
